QSPM have been commissioned by a design and build contractor, based in Bath, to measure & price a tender on a Residential Conversion in Clevedon. The building is a former care home for which planning permission has been granted for conversion into 19no. apartments.
The scope of works to be measured and priced consists of demolition of existing buildings and temporary protection of the Victorian structures to remain. Then to erect a new built side and rear extension consisting of stone walls, metal cladding, new pitched and flat roofs, timber windows and French casement and internal fitout works including mechanical and electrical items. The build has been designed to be in keeping with the heritage of the area and our price reflects careful consideration to uphold protected items. The apartments still have generous proportions, with all of them exceeding National Space Standards.
